HOW TO POP THE LEASH | WITHOUT HURTING THE DOG
Many people are confused about what a leash pop is, versus what it means to yank and pull, or keep consistent pressure on the leash so I hope this explanation given to a small group in Atlanta, Gerogia, will help shed light on that.

People are idiots these arent pets they are for work
2 MRNS who should not have a dog
His argument fell apart as soon as he said “your yard”
Nope, hell to the fookin no! Love dogs, I work large guardian breeds like Boerboels, but I have zero interest in working with or owning that. It’s like a GSD that got into a bag of powder
Dog Daddy Help him please🤦🏾♀️
The part where he knocked something off and looked at it, like “ooh! Did I get him?!”
A lot of aggressive male dogs have no sort of physical discipline or dominance at home either so they see themselves as the leader/protector. I'm not saying to beat your dogs, but your dog should be submissive to you and see you as it's protector not the other way around. If you cannot physically control or dominate your dog when necessary, it's too big or strong for you. Just a tip for anyone with big dogs, if you do need to physically control them, scoop up their back legs. They can't really do anything from there and if they don't immediately settle down you can easily put them on their side from there. You do not allow them up until they're obeying your commands. You basically have to correct their behavior the way another dominant dog would. Composure is non negotiable either the way the guy in the video was explaining. Don't let your dog think you're a bitch.
A belgian is NOT a dog for first time dog owners,it would be a bad experience for the owner and the dog would most likely end up in a shelter(where a lot of belgians end up because a human made the mistake of getting him/her as their first dog.) I got one of my belgians from a shelter.Very sad case, some humans should not be allowed around animals at all!!🤬
I do t know why people assume dogs are vicious, I assume if I mind my business they will mind theirs! Beautiful pup!
That is not animal abuse that was not a Kick that was a nudge
Any updates on that german shepherd in the beginning? His hips look shot.
I don't see that as a kick... look more like a shovel with his foot. Looking at this gentleman i think if he was to actually kick the dog in his video it would in the least yelp
Hate to be his neighbor
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
You handled this beautifully,...calm, collected, questioning their reasons, so beautiful. Now call a lawyer and sue.
Got to have good timing with your correction
Officer so dense
Had to put the pup in air jail
You can train any dog on your property.
That seems weird, I was told by movies and TV that in the US you can do whatever you want inside your home 😅
Is this America? I thought this was America? 🤨🤔
One question ❓ CAN I HAVE HER? PLEASE 🙏🙏 LOL 😆
AH SELF PITY
If he has a business permit and public liability insurance then he can do what the heck he wants on his property surely. Also if you own a dog you cant train it at your house. You have to train in a public area, even if you're not a trainer but an owner. This is daft!
That's complete nonsense. I'd tell him to leave my property and then proceed to train my animal. It's not his concern.
Do you have your training locations and schedules listed???? If so how do I gain access. 💛💛💛💛
Why do they have to eat where they sleep? In nature, you don't eat where you shii and you don't sleep where you shii. Why are you going against nature? Inquiring minds wanna know 😊
Ya, homies comment below me! I'm a veterinarian technician of 32 years and a canine compound behaviorist. Not just sit/stay. Anxiety/aggression/ect
Training isn't cookie cutter. Every dog has a drive/need You're doing fear of disappointment training. There's no respect. Just fear of disappointment. Much like Hitler. Redefine your training methods/tactics.
Hey, I ordered from your website back in May and I still havent received my item. I emailed an inquiry about it and still no response. Thanks 😊
Colonizers gonna colonize
I did 😂😂😂😂
Same as heelers
Fuck the police
That’s the best training for pups.
Oh please , I'm an animal lover and that was a nudge . I don't even want to hurt a mouse so please hear me
Interesting. Do you have any formal dog training education or certifications? If a dog is barking at someone to leave and they leave, assuming the dog's behavior (barking at strangers to leave) increases in the future, it's actually R- (Negative Reinforcement) and here's why. All Reinforcement (both positive and negative) INCREASES responding All Punishment (both positive and negative) DECREASES responding Positive (+) means adding something Negative (-) means removing, terminating In this scenario the barking increases in the future meaning it was reinforced because the behavior went up. And it's negative - because the consequence was the removal of the person. dog barks at stranger. stranger leaves. dog barks at strangers in the future. (R-) Though I wouldn't even recommend Operant conditioning training in the first place when the dog is upset. In this case I would push for classical conditioning which is training by events via conditioned emotional responses. I really. really. really. hate that we don't have some standardized regulation on dog training. Be safe out there folks.
Positive reinforcement occurs when the dog receives what it desires for doing a behavior. You can try to complicate it if you’d like.
@@ericandcaprithepup don’t mean to come off the wrong way. Operant conditioning originated from B.F. Skinner its entire existence is his theory. It’s just fact.
@@envipingYou did, otherwise you wouldn’t begin your comment with “what are your credentials” I don’t have credentials, I had a scientist for a father and I studied. Have you ever read the book “behavior of organisms”? Positive reinforcement is defined as the removal of negative reinforcement. You’re not commenting to learn, you’re trying to replicate basic information anyone can google. If you’ve actually observed animals in third world countries the way I have, they’ve conditioned themselves to the environments and not a single human was there to offer them a treat. Why do you think that is?
@@ericandcaprithepup I do see how it came off but I am genuinely curious where trainers gain their knowledge so I can experience it as well. I'm always willing to learn and experience which is why I'm here. I'm firm on the operant conditioning stance though as it's literally fact. The quadrant for R+, R-, P+, P- were literally created by B.F. Skinner so anyone using his terminology other than through his theory is wrong. You also talk about conditioning which was Pavlov's theory but the way you recite it isn't exactly correct either. I just find it very odd hearing those words used in different ways. But I am sorry for coming off rude. That was really not my intent.
I also feed my dog breakfast and dinner in his kennel so when I pick up the bowl and go to throw away the can he runs to the kennel and waits for me in there.
Misunderstanding, from her view the dog never got up. So the dog must be down.
I'm still working on that with my Belgian. I'm about halfway there.
I completely understand my Belgian malinois is one of the smartest dogs by far that I've ever had and one of the most stubbornness dogs I've ever had.
Nice catch!!
Not abuse it’s a common leg push to stop the dog from trying to eat the others food
Better behaved dogs than most peoples kids.
She wasn't being a jerk by any means, i don't think so anyway.
Looks like discipline to me
A perfectly executed correction, is what that’s called. Beautiful communication on the owners part, and the dog fully understood it in about 5sec 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
He corrected him… stop it.
Ok Eric, true confession. I don't have dog yet. I saw one of your short clips. Been at your site watching almost all of them. I'm just needing knowledge to make sure that I'll be giving us both the best chance. Imo. If the owner doesn't know what they're doing, then it's impossible for the animal to know what's allowed and what isn't.
Tips for dogs barking at each other through a fence constantly? My dogs love people and other dogs. Can be a bit excitable but if calmed down before approaching they’re great. I can have them sit quietly next to the fence just fine even with most of my neighbors dogs and kids in their yard. Even looking at them through the fence. But their full grown male. He goes crazy at my dogs and myself if he sees me. And it gets my dogs very hyped up and protective. Causing all training to go out the window. Then it’s just barking through the fence. Just have the issue with the one dog too. Not their other 3. Any tips? Tried talking to neighbors about maybe getting them to actually meet but they just ignored me. They leave their dogs out 24/7 so this happens every time I take mine out unless he is asleep. Just sucks needing to take my dogs out when I get home from work knowing that the barking is gonna wake up my buddies wife and young kids
Damn you had her twerking in a handstand 🤯
I have watched many of your videos.this one is so far my favorite. Thank you for helping me with my puppy 10 months now .
